Terms of service
Last updated August 2026
These terms govern your use of the File Clarity. They are provided as a starting point and are not legal advice; operators should adapt them before relying on them. By using the application you agree to these terms.
What the service is
The application helps you organize financial documents: it classifies uploads, extracts metadata for your review, flags duplicates and missing information, applies consistent filenames, and produces a downloadable, indexed package. It is a document organization and intake tool only.
What the service is not
It is not accounting software, a transaction ledger, a tax-filing product, a permanent financial vault, or a source of legal, tax, or financial advice. Automated classifications and extracted values are assistive and may be incorrect; you are responsible for reviewing and confirming them before relying on any output.
No guarantees
We do not warrant guaranteed classification accuracy, legally sufficient records, tax compliance, audit protection, or support for every possible document format. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the documents you upload, for having the right to upload them, and for keeping your own copies of anything important. Do not upload content you are not permitted to process. Keep your account credentials secure.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other accounts’ data, disrupt the service, circumvent usage limits, or use the service to process content unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from use of the service.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Questions: support@fabianmeyerconsulting.com.
